Katherine and Adam wanted a London wedding with a church ceremony and an elegant but fun reception that celebrated them as a couple.
The Wedding
Farm Street Church provided a stunning setting for the ceremony. Katherine, an avid horsewoman, arrived in a Landau coach, adding a touch of elegance to the occasion.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds departed for the Mandarin Oriental in the Landau, while the wedding party travelled in classic white London taxis and guests in two iconic Routemaster buses.
Upon arrival at the hotel, guests enjoyed a delightful reception on the lawn, sipping drinks and sampling canapés while being entertained by a string trio and a magician. Meanwhile, the children had their own fun in the Carlyle Room, where a childcare team and a balloon artist kept them engaged.
To celebrate Katherine’s love of horses, the reception tables were named after famous fictional horses, with each table name beautifully displayed as a rosette. Guests received their personalized placement rosettes upon arrival, showcased on a bespoke display board that made for a striking entrance.
During dinner, The Three Waiters surprised guests with a lively performance, setting the stage for an evening of celebration. The energy continued as the band and DJ took over, keeping the party going until midnight.
