Bryn and Seb wanted a fun wedding that was very much reflective of the two of them and their tastes and interests. The main focus was on their guests sharing in a wonderful celebration with them.
The Wedding
Harlaxton provided a breathtaking venue and backdrop for this wedding, its grandeur, stunning interiors, and exceptional events team making it an effortless choice.
Guests were collected from local hotels by coach before the groom and his entourage arrived in style in classic Bentleys.
Welcomed with a refreshing glass of Laurent Perrier Rosé, guests were then shown to their seats in the Great Hall, where each was presented with a beautifully designed fan listing the order of the day's celebrations.
Following the ceremony, guests collected their placement cards and made their way into the gardens for champagne and canapés. Garden games, a magician, and a string trio provided entertainment, while elegantly arranged garden tents and furniture offered a charming space to relax.
Dinner in the Long Gallery reflected the wedding's pastel theme, with tables named after British country animals—a nod to the groom's background in ecology. The elegant tablescapes were brought to life with hand-painted stationery, bespoke charger plates, and personalised embroidered napkins.
A lively quiz punctuated the meal, sparking laughter and camaraderie among guests. After the speeches, the couple changed outfits while guests gathered on the staircase for the cake cutting, followed by the first dance in the now-transformed Great Hall.
A stylish and completely re-dressed bar area served bespoke cocktails and housed a photo booth, while later in the evening, a spectacular fireworks display and an indulgent evening buffet ensured the celebration continued in unforgettable style.
