Alexandra and Chris live and work in London and wanted a London wedding with personal touches - and lots of fun!
The Wedding
After them selecting the Savile Club for their reception, I suggested St George's for their ceremony with it being close by and an iconic building.
Vintage cars transported Alexandra and her bridesmaids to the church and after the ceremony, 2 Routemaster buses took the guests the short distance to the Savile Club.
We had brought in a Mirrored bar to complement the rose gold colour scheme as well as bar tenders to serve the especially created cocktails (one named after the groom, one after the bride and the third, an amalgamation of their names!) to guests as they arrived. We had hung the placement cards on a central stripped Birch tree, sprayed to match the colour scheme and we handed these out as guests made their way in.
Diva entertained guests while they enjoyed canapes and the roving magician.
Dinner was served in the spectacular ballroom which we decorated in the colour scheme with plenty of candlelight. The placecards were tied to the back of the chairs and the menus were styled as charger plates at each place setting.
The cake was displayed on the sweeping staircase and after they had cut it, guests followed the couple down the stairs to the library for dancing.
The band and DJ played here, and in the adjacent room, a video booth and sweet table of colour co-ordinated sweets, macarons and other delectables were housed.
Later, a cheese trolley was brought in along with the cake and late night digestifs.
