I just had to put pen to paper to say a big! big! thank you from all the family for the most amazing day. I could never have done it without you. I feel a great loss, one for no longer calling you every day (!) and second for your comfort and making me feel relaxed. I will always have you in my prayers and my heart, and thank you again.
Justine and Alex planned to marry at their local church with a reception at Fulham Palace. They were keen to utilise me to theme and co-ordinate their special day.
The Wedding
The couple had lived all their lives in London and were marrying in the summer. I thought these were the 2 themes we should embrace.
We decided on a light pastel colour scheme which would include many of the late summer flowers available in September.
Vintage cars and Routemaster buses were used to transport everyone to the church and then to the reception.
On arriving at Fulham Palace, guests were greeted in the courtyard by waiters serving Pimms, Champagne and canapes while the jazz band played.
Dining took place in the marquee decorated with ivory linen, pastel coloured flowers and candelabra. The tables were named after famous British summer time events.
After dinner, guests were led through the candle lit walkway back into the Palace for dancing.
